Hasselblad Lunar is a Rebranded Sony NEX 7 with $5,000 of Luxury IMG 3601

Hasselblad churned things adult currently by announcing a new “ultra luxury” APS-C mirroress camera. Sounds like Earth-shattering news, right? Take a small closer, and you’ll notice that it’s not as staggering as it sounds. Basically, a association has taken a page from Leica’s book by personification a rebranding game. Just as Leica -Lux compress cameras are radically rebranded Panasonic Lumix bodies, a new Hasselblad Lunar is a dressed-up chronicle of a Sony NEX-7.

The specs are idential: a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, an ISO operation of 100-16000, 0.02 second shiver lag, a 3-inch LCD screen, a built-in EVF, 25 AF points, Sony E and A mountain compatibility, and 10fps continual shooting.

Design-wise, a camera’s name and demeanour seems to compensate loyalty to a fact that Hasselblad cameras were used on a moon (and left there). The Italian designs underline handgrips done of genuine wood, and bodies assembled regulating CO fiber, titanium, leather, gold, and other changed metals (these are many really needs, not wants, in box you’re wondering).

The Lunar is fundamentally a whole array of Leica-style special book cameras, with opposite colors and materials. We hear there’s 47 opposite looks formed on opposite character combinations.

Here are some some-more views of a camera:

Now for a price. In box a fact that bullion was used to build this camera didn’t tip we off: this camera is expensive. It’ll lift an astronomical (pun intended) cost tab of €5,000, or around $6,500. The NEX-7 usually costs around $1,100, so if we were meditative about purchasing 6 of them, we should change skeleton and get a Lunar instead.
